Having reviewed the applications and interviewed the potential scholars we make a selection and award the scholarship taking account the applicants' qualifications, legal direction and personality.
In honour of the former Federal Finance Minister and our Of Counsel, Dr. Theo Waigel, GSK Stockmann + Kollegen each year offers the "Theo Waigel Scholarship". The scholarship, which are endowed with EUR 5,000 helps young lawyers to study for a Master of Laws abroad.
We thereby want to make a contribution towards the international education of the next generation of lawyers and to the personal development of young people with an open mind as embodied in Dr. Theo Waigel as one of the "parents" of the European Monetary Union.
